Elora is a quaint little town nestled between Guelph and Mississauga, and it is a gorgeous place to visit in the warmer months. With a gorge nearby and stunning parks, it is a nature lover’s dream… but it can be a bit dreary in the winter if you don’t know where to look. One of the best places to eat in the city is at the Elora Brewing Company, and if you head over on February 28th, you might be able to join them for the 2nd annual Brewer’s Feast: a spectacular 4 course feast in a redesigned restaurant.
I was lucky enough to attend the first Brewer’s Feast, and as I’m from the UK originally, I had very high expectations for something that was advertised as being a European-inspired event. The Elora Brewing Company did not disappoint, and it felt like I was instantly transported back home! This year, the EBC is turning the brewery into an old world tavern reminiscent of British pubs from back in the day. You’ll love what they do with the place, I’m sure.
The food is British-inspired as well, and is a 4 course dinner with exclusive one-time only cask beers to enjoy alongside your meal. The brewery has prepared a dry Irish stout, a classic Old Ale, an English bitter, a dark mild, and an additional complimentary pint to make sure you have a good time at Brewer’s Feast. You can expect traditional British fare like pies, trifle and puddings, so come hungry!
If you’d like to come to the Brewer’s Feast on February 28th at 6:30 PM, make sure you reserve a free ticket here. The dinner itself will cost $70, but you’ll only have to pay that once you’re done your meal. The tickets are already 70% sold out, so act fast to be able to make sure you’ve got a spot. I hope I see you there!
