Torontonians love their ribs, and since 1999, the Toronto Ribfest has been delivering some of the most delicious foods to the Greater Toronto Area. With everything from food trucks to live music, there’s something for everyone to do—and while the ribs are the prime attraction that bring people from all over Canada to Centennial Park, Ribfest is a great place to spend your Canada Day weekend.
There will be over 12 rib teams waiting to prepare delicious foods for attendees, but ribs aren’t the only thing you can expect to eat at Ribfest. There will be the festival standards, like ice cream and cotton candy, and burgers, nachos, burritos, and all sorts of other tasty things You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure!
Ribfest also attracts some of the region’s best musicians, and is actually one of the biggest outdoor concert events in Toronto. There are three stages at the park, and there will be live music from Friday to Monday. Some of the musicians include Fabulously Hip, Girl Pow-R, and Circle 5. From reggae to rock, there’s going to some good music for everyone to enjoy at the Ribfest.
Amazingly, Ribfest also has its very own Midway! There’s loads to do there, and there’s also a Kids Zone for children to play in so they don’t get bored—there will be face painting and magicians, and all sorts of games for them to stay entertained. On Canada Day, there’s even going to be fireworks to celebrate the day!

The festival will run from Friday, June 29th, til July 2nd. From Friday to Sunday, the festival will be open from 11 AM til 10PM, and on Monday it will be open from 11 AM til 8 PM. Make your way over to Centennial Park on 256 Centennial Park Road this weekend to have a good time, your stomach will thank you!
