Ganges on Salt Spring Island is a fantastic place, but after all the Kayaking and cycling it will be time to have some beer!
Moby’s Pub is a great watering hole situated at the far end of the Ganges harbour and only a short walk from the main promenade. With the right weather and a nice pint, there isn’t a better place to be than on the pub deck which overlooks the moored boats in the harbour.
Excellent pub food awaits those who have worked up an appetite, but keep in mind that a bowl of onion rings from Moby’s could feed a family of four for a week.
Inside the pub there is a cute novelty model train circling around the pub, although it’s a shame it couldn’t be used for beer delivery. During the summer months there is a DJ night, which provides much needed evening entertainment for a young twenty something crowd of locals.
Overall this a really great pub, make sure you visit Moby’s in Ganges.

Must have been at a different Mobys than the one my friends and I have tried. Like most of Salt Spring, overpriced and so-so
