Burlington is one of the nicest cities in the Greater Toronto Area, and like Niagara-on-The-Lake, lots of the city’s residents love Christmas. Every year, the city holds a candlelit stroll, and this year it’s presented by the Lisa-Marie Winning Investors Group. If you want to see a city light up for the holidays and be part of Burlington’s Candlelit Stroll!
On November 30th at 6 PM, head out to the Civic Square to catch the action. While the stroll itself doesn’t begin until 7 PM at the same location, getting there early ensures that you won’t miss any of the free burgers from the Works Gourmet Burger Bistro, or the hot chocolate from Coffee Culture! You can also pick up a free candle and map from the organisers, enjoy lots of Christmas music, and take the kids to visit Santa Claus!
The stroll begins at 7 PM, and everyone will depart from the Civic Square together. You’ll make your way through Downtown Burlington, stopping every little bit to make a few musical stops. Brush up on your caroling before you go! At the end of the route, you’ll stop at the Spencer Smith Park to enjoy the Festival of Lights, where there will be even more music and treats to enjoy! For more information on the stroll and Burlington itself, visit the city’s website here.
